Samsung LED TV Television SCART to HDMI

If you''ve recently bought a Samsung television you would have noticed that it comes with a lead that looks like a HDMI to Scart, there must be some kind of special converter built into it cos in reality HDMI is digital and SCART is analogue and a straight wiring wouldn't work. LG TV Television has no headphone or Phono(RCA) connection

Recently I thought about connecting my LG television to a sound system because the speakers on the TV don't have much bass for that cinema feeling. Now imagine how surprise I was to find that when I looked at the back of the television I found that there were no headphone connection or phono connection. That's crazy!!! so looked in the manual and what I found was true there are no analog sound output from LG televisions.

Solution
The solution to this is to us a DAC - Digital Audio Converter. One that has 'Optical Audio' input and a 'Phono(RCA)' or headphone jack output.
