Kinetic Powered Product Gadget Crank Torch

I've recently seen the 'light'. I found these crank torches they are so kickass. You squeeze the crank and it gives you light, these torches are great for emergencies they don't need any batteries and charge by the cranking.

Since finding out about these torches I've been looking for other alternative energy source stuff and some of the cool stuff I've found are crank USB chargers and solar phone chargers.

Google Chrome OS Operating System

So I've been thinking about changing my operating system to Chrome OS. From what I've found from the youtube videos it's meant to get you on the net fast! Good so far! It seems slick and cool but my question are: Will my printer work on it? What hardware will it support? What is it based on? it looks suspiciously Linux like, as I can't seem to find any offical evidence then my second guess would be BSD which is not a bad choice just look at what OSX has become.

Opera users increase

From recent reports it seems that one of my favourite browsers Opera. Is getting a lot more downloads due to Windows now having a screen for users to choose a browser instead of automatically installing 'Internet Explorer'. For me when I got things to do on the net quickly I go for opera it seems to be the fastest at getting to the site and completing task.

If you find that you are always buying batteries and you think a power supply would be better money spent. Then here's a guide on how to find a power supply for a toy.

Look on the toy for sticker that should have the power rating it requires. There should be 2 numbers. For example if the sticker states 5V 2A. The 5V is the Volts you should always match this up exactly. The 2A is the amount of current the device needs and this just needs to be at least the same or over, so a power supply putting out 2A or 5A it should work fine.

• To ensure that you have minimal loss try using higher grade coxial cable. Satellite cable has less signal lost and changing your standard coxial cable to satellite cable will help give you a better reception. Though satellite cable is around £1.50 a meter compared to the 50p a meter of standard coxial.
  
• Using an aerial signal meter, this will help ensure that you have your outdoor aerial pointing in the best direction possible. The meter needle will go to the right if you get it to the strongest direction. They typically cost around £20.
  
• Using a booster - there is a myth that boosters will improve your reception even if you are in a poor signal area. With a digital signal you will need to get a reasonable signal before you start boosting the signal . If you have reception that needs stabilsing then a booster should keep away those slight loss of signal.
